Literally. That is copied straight from the box. I love it, Japan. I love it.

Things I like about this figure:

• THIS is how bighead chibi should be done. Look at HOW FUCKING CUTE this is.
• NO SERIOUSLY LOOK
• it’s heavy, it has weight to it. I don’t feel like I could break it.
• painted super well! nice gradient on the hair and no splotches and DEM EYES OH GOD UGUUUU KAWAIII NIPPAAA UGUUUU DASU DASU DESU 
• super smooth with no blemishes!

Things I don’t like about this figure:

• fucking goddamn seams. really visible seams. most prominent in her hair. a big ole square seam. fuck. my. life.
• whats up with giving them weird colored stands? her head makes her super top-heavy, so you have to use the stand or she faceplants. it clips on to the interface headest/A10 nerve clips and is….blue? what? why make it blue? it’s so visible. clear would be best, but even red or orange would look better.
• they printed the copyright right on one of the nodes of the headset. whatttt why. oh well.

that’s the last of the aboston/acen figures! over the next week I’ma post the rest of my collection, plus the one I acquire from Anext. I’m not even going to pretend like I won’t buy any. RIP WALLET

Another figure I really love. I couldn’t wait to set it up. I love setting them up asjdhas.

Things I like about this figure:

• Its really fucking pretty. Slender and elegant and pretty. Lookit dem fingers! long and pretty and nice and eeeeee.
• LOOK AT THAT FUCKING LANCE hopy shit so cool. 
• No immediately visible seams. They cleverly hid them with the texture of the hair. Liekkkkk.
• the pose.

Things I don’t like about this figure:

• The lance keeps popping out of her right hand.
• weird purple discoloration by her vajoo? whatever nbd

Evangelion Portraits VII

I am sad I could not get a good picture of this. These came as separates. This HAS to be one of my favorite things I own. Like ever. I love it. I am so glad Japan has such a Christmas-boner.

Things I like about this figure:

• Minimal seams! AUGH YES
• Detail is so great. The wingies on the staff, the bell on Asuka, Rei’s boots. So cute. Even the underside of Asuka’s coat, which you can’t see, has little detailed clasps. I love it.
• The base isn’t just a crappy circle. It’s like, a little roof! I’m totes gonna paint it to be a chimney :3c
• THEY GO TOGETHER FHKASJ;lsadlng GIMMICKS
• The eyes are super well printed and detailed!

Things I don’t like about this figure:

• sigh. sadly, the paint job is kinda eh. There are blotches of gold paint on her staff and red paint on Rei’s boob-shirt-hole? Maybe I’m being too picky.

Rei. Reireireireireirei. For those of you who know me, I am THE BIG REI FANGIRL. Well, more like THE BIG EVA FANGIRL. I eat that shit for BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND MOTHERFUCKING DINNER. I DREAM in eva. I WISH EVANGELION WAS MY RINGTONE.

Things I like about this figure:

• well painted! the gradient on her dress is smooth and a nice detail!
• base is sturdy
• it’s fukkin REI
• I like the little IV pole.
• LOOK AT THOSE GODDAMN COLLARBONES UNNNNNFFF REI BB

Things I don’t like about this figure:

• SEAMS, ugh my greatest enemy. There is one really distinct seam on her hair. But whatever, the rest makes up for it.
• The stand is clear but pretty visible. however, it is unnecessary so WHATEVER.

So, I could have got 1/11 (I think) figures from this batch. I got THE ONE figure I DID NOT want. The Moblin. I’ve never played Spirit Tracks, but I am a fan of all things Zelda, and I so I shelled out 5 bucks for this little bitch.

Things I like:

• nice detail for such a tiny little thing!
• painted super well, no splotches or blotches or anything.
• ACTUALLY STICKS TO THE BASE OMFGWTSBBQ
• it came in a MOTHERFUCKING CHOCOLATE EGG SO TASTY HOLY SHIT

Things I don’t like:

• …it’s a fukkin moblin

• Um. Boobies?

Things I don’t like about this figure:

• The chopsticks in her hair are flimsy and bent.
• Her boobs are UNREAL. Good and bad I guess.
• The stupid thing is wobbly and leans forward. I’m gonna have to glue it in to make her stand up right and not slip off the pedestal. 
• Crappy painting. or printing, whatever
• JESUS CHRIST HER HEAD IS SO BIG. and not in an adorable proper chibi way, as you will see in a few posts. No, more in a “jesus christ macrocephaly” type way.
